Taipei Climate Information
The best time to visit Taiwan is from February to April and from October to December. During the summer, the weather is hot with frequent short thunderstorms, and occasionally typhoons occur, making the period around summer preferable for climate conditions. If you are in the northern region (such as Taipei) from February to April, it is recommended to carry rain gear with you. The weather from October to December is relatively dry. Cities in the southern and central regions, such as Kaohsiung and Taichung, are mostly dry in spring and autumn, with temperatures averaging in the twenties. Occasionally, there is sunshine in December.
